Patchwork: Thursdays, 10 AM -12 PM

Caroline

Music, for me, is as essential as breathing. Music is something that connects everyone . . .  it is one of life’s miracles!  I am grateful to share this miracle with others via volunteering at WOJB.

My playlists come from the heart----- not algorithms!

Patchwork: Wednesdays, 10 AM -12 PM

Dean

Dean and his wife have a cabin in Sawyer County where he was introduced to WOJB and, in February 2023, began his weekly Patchwork program.   He enjoys all varieties of music and it shows in his musical selections.  One thing you can count on, however, is getting the lead out (Led Zeppelin) at 11:00 and Pink Floyd embedded somewhere in his programs.  The stories behind songs can influence his selections and he enjoys researching histories of both songs and artists.

Patchwork: Tuesdays, 10 AM - 12 PM

Shirley

I started listening to music on my little transistor radio. Many many years ago. All music makes me smile but my favorites are the 60’s.

You will find the golden oldies on many a Tuesday. Or a little 70’s, 80’s and an occasional tune from the 90’s. Tune in
and smile along with me.

Jazz: Sundays, 6 - 9 PM

Michael

Relocating to the Northwoods in 2019, Michael joined the volunteer team at WOJB in the Spring of 2024.  A professional drummer and educator in the Twin Cities for over 30+ years, his experience and musical background makes taking the helm of the Jazz @ OJB show on Sunday’s a natural fit.

“It’s a joy to bring the best of classic and contemporary Jazz to the Northwoods airwaves here at 88.9 FM.”
